Dear Mr Phillips
I am writing on behalf of the Confectionery Manufacturers of Australasia
(CMA). Peter Eliovson was well known to our organisation through his
involvement with Barry Callebaut’s Australian/New Zealand arm, which
is a member of the association.
The CMA publishes a monthly e-newsletter and Marc Donaldson (with
whom Peter worked at Barry Callebaut) has kindly provided us with a
short written tribute which will be published in this month’s (February)
issue. The only thing I have been lacking is a photo and it is somewhat
by accident that I have come across your tribute site.
Would you have any objection to the CMA using one or two of the photos
from the site in our article? The photos we may use are featured on your
front page (the photo taken on 30 January last year), a photo of Peter with
a fish and a headshot of Peter from the ‘Memories’ page.
I am happy to give your site or the Eliovson family due credit for permission
of the use of the photos and I can also encourage our readers (some of
whom I’m sure would have known Peter reasonably well) to visit your
website to leave messages of condolence. I’m also happy to forward
you and the family a copy of the tribute after publication.
I look forward to your response.

I understand that they would be very much appreciative of the tribute
your organization's newsletter will be dedicating to Pete and I certainly
have no problem with your using the images you have requested.
As intimated in my email to Mrs. Eliovson, I will prepare for additional
tributes that are emailed to yourway@aol.com - they will be added to
the website in the form of a new business tribute page.
Please advise me when you have the tribute prepared and the monthly
newsletter complete in the form of a PDF/PPG which I can add to the site
